Applications

The Yamato SK-401-115V is a compact, dependable dry heat sterilizer suited for labs that need consistent sterilization performance without the footprint of larger units. Its 99 L chamber and natural convection heating make it a practical choice for benchtop and smaller-scale sterilization workflows.

Glassware Sterilization & Depyrogenation

Dry heat is the preferred method for sterilizing and depyrogenating borosilicate glassware — flasks, pipettes, petri dishes, and volumetric ware. The SK-401-115V reaches 260°C, sufficient for validated depyrogenation cycles, and natural convection ensures gentle, even heat penetration without disturbing lightweight or open glassware. No residual moisture means instruments are ready to use immediately after the cycle completes.

Metal Instruments & Heat-Stable Supplies

Forceps, scalpels, spatulas, needles, and other metal instruments that cannot tolerate moisture are well-suited for dry heat sterilization. The SK-401-115V's programmable 99-step controller allows validated sterilization protocols to be stored and recalled for consistent, repeatable results — useful for labs running multiple instrument types on different cycle parameters.

Powders, Oils & Moisture-Sensitive Materials

Talc, starch, petroleum jelly, mineral oils, and similar materials degrade under steam sterilization conditions. Dry heat at controlled temperatures is the only validated approach for these substrates. The SK-401-115V's PID control and calibration offset function allow precise cycle conditions to be set and documented, supporting GMP and quality assurance requirements.

Research & Clinical Laboratories

The SK-401-115V is well-suited for smaller research labs, satellite facilities, and clinical settings where a full-size sterilizer isn't needed but validated dry heat performance is still required. Programmable auto start/stop functions support unattended operation, and the compact 99 L footprint fits comfortably in space-constrained lab environments.

Order Confirmation

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. This means your order has been received in our system and your payment method has been pre-authorized. We then confirm the item is in stock with our manufacturing partners and available for shipment.

If an item is backordered or unavailable, the authorization will be voided, and we will contact you to discuss alternatives. If the item is in stock, your order will be processed and prepared for shipment. Most in-stock orders ship within 3–5 business days.

Processing and Delivery Times

  • Standard Items: 3-5 business days processing time, with delivery typically taking 4-12 business days after shipment.

  • Built-to-Order Items: Some specialized laboratory equipment is manufactured upon order and will require additional processing time. We will notify you of extended timeframes before confirming your order.

  • Expedited Shipping: Faster delivery may be available upon request for an additional fee. Contact us at info@labstockdirect.com to inquire about expedited options.

Multiple Item Orders

If your order contains multiple items, they may ship from different manufacturing facilities listed above and arrive separately. Each shipment will have its own tracking number provided via email.

International Orders

We are happy to serve international customers. Please note:

  • Products are designed for the U.S. market and typically require 110V or 220V electrical systems.

  • International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees required by their country.

  • Shipping rates will be provided upon request before your order is processed.

Damages

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you notice visible damage, note it when signing for delivery or refuse the shipment. If you accept the package and later find damage, take clear photos of the packaging and product immediately and contact us at info@labstockdirect.com. Lab Stock Direct covers return shipping costs for defective, damaged, or incorrect items.
